The Access to Work grant is a fantastic resource for individuals with dyslexia or ADHD in the UK workplace. Whether you're self-employed, full time, part-time, and for every type of job. If you notice dyslexia interfering with daily work tasks like organisation, emails, or note-taking during meetings, you can apply for this grant.
We'll Guide You Through the Process
We understand that the application process can seem daunting; however, we are here to help.
The Access to Work journey involves five stages: Applying, being assessed, receiving the award, training, and paying for the services. We're here to provide moral support and guidance every step of the way.
We'll meet with you on Zoom for 30 minutes and help you complete the application form. No formal dyslexia assessment is required – simply explain how dyslexia impacts your work life.
If you're in employment, we will work with your HR and Finance Departments to support them through the process.
What Does the Grant Offer?
A typical Access to Work grant includes:
- Speech-to-text software (around £600) and training (£275)
- Text-to-speech software (£405) and training (£275)
- Mind mapping software (£405) and training (£275 - £405)
- 12 sessions of one-to-one coaching (£1,120)
(This is indicative only. The final grant offered will be dependent on needs.)
Training
Once you receive your award letter, you can purchase the recommended software, hardware, and training from providers of your choice. We offer mind mapping training and can guide you to other reputable speech-to-text and text-to-speech service providers.
